CHEQUE / POSTAL ORDER / PAYPAL ORDERS
If you don't have a paypal account, we're perfectly happy to accept cheque's or postal orders made out to CHUNKY RECORDS. Overseas customers are advised that Paypal method is best, or you can pay via a direct bank transfer if needed (if you prefer that option, email us and ask for our bank details). Cash orders are acceptable (UK sterling or Euros only please!) but customers must take full responsibility when sending cash through the mail. We strongly suggest you only do so via registered mail service for your own security!
If like 90% of customers you want to place an order via Paypal, we strongly advise that you email us your order first orders@chunkyrecords.com so we can make sure all items are available and to also calculate the correct postage rate for you. Once that has been done you can send payment to this paypal address : andy@chunkyrecords.com
Most people find the easiest way to send order via email is to cut and paste their needs from the website catalogue onto a blank email, please include all information inc price as this speeds up the process considerably. If you haven't done this before simply click with left mouse button and drag over the text you wish to copy so its highlighted, then go to file and click copy, then click onto your email message and press paste, it saves ages typing in especially on large orders believe me ! save yourself some time
It's advisable to include a telephone / fax number or email address with all correspondence so we can reach you incase of a problem

The above postage guide is mainly for one off items. If your order contains multiple items, the postage cost will be calculated before you pay and emailed to you for approval. If you are paying via mail method (cheque / postal order etc) please email us your order first (orders@chunkyrecords.com) and we'll happily add it up and email you back with a total inc postage options.
Recorded Delivery (Price) £0.74 : This is a signed for service which needs a signature upon delivery. It automatically includes insurance of up to £39.00 in value and also provides a tracking service should a problem occur. Recommended for smaller packages
Special Delivery (Price) From £6.70 (up to 1kg in weight) to £8.65 (up to 2kg in weight). This guaranteed next day delivery service features insurance up to the value of £500 and a guaranteed delivery time of before noon the next day. It also requires signature upon delivery. Recommended for ALL orders over £30.00 in value.
As with the Recorded Delivery option, Special Delivery is a totally optional extra. But bear in mind we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged mail packages sent without insurance. We also have no way of tracking any item sent without these methods.
Royal Mail Parcels : When a large order is placed weighing over 2kgs it is automatically sent out via royal mail's parcel service. This is by far the cheapest and efficient service for heavier packages but it can take up to 5 working days to deliver (but rarely does!). Price varies from £7.06 (up to 4kgs in weight inc insurance) to £12.61 (up to 10kgs in weight inc insurance). As you can see that's pretty good value for money and its very rare any package will exceed 10kgs!

These prices include packaging in mailing envelopes (Vinyl) or bubble bags (CD) and card stiffeners for added protection. They are for one off orders only. All orders for multiple items will have postage cost calculated before payment stage. Please email orders to : orders@chunkyrecords.com
Postal Insurance For Overseas Customers
Regular airmail (prices quoted above) does not include ANY insurance against loss or damage or tracking. So we strongly advise you to pay the bit extra for registered mail delivery. This is pretty essential for packages worth more than £30.00 as we obviously cannot track or replace any packages that go missing unless they have insurance paid for.
The cheapest registered service which is available to ALL countries outside the UK is INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR. This costs an additional £4.25 (per order not per items). This insures package contents for £30.00 automatically and also requires a signature upon delivery. It is however not the greatest service and doesn't provide any tracking online.
The best overseas insured service however is AIRSURE. Sadly this is only available to the countries outlined below at the moment. Its a great service and worth considering especially if you are ordering a lot of items. This service costs an additional £4.90 on top of the actual postage costs.
You can send mail by Airsure to over 30 destinations in the following three geographic postal zones:
Europe: Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
World Zones: Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and USA
Please note that if your country isn’t included in the above list, you can’t use our Airsure® service for your destination, although you can still send your item via INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR
For overseas packages that weigh over 2kgs, we cannot send them via regular airmail. We have to send them via Parcelforce International Standard service which automatically insures the contents for £150.00. Additional insurance is available if needed. The prices vary so we ill advise you on options if your order is over 2kgs when packed and weighed.
